Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.

I've thought DjiboutiJones was quite catchy, myself. It does tie you to Djibouti... but it sounds like that's your long-term plan anyway.

Plus you can always change domains since you contract for 1-2 years so there's nothing REALLY long-term!

I think you should use your name because it would let you write about different things. If you stuck with djiboutijones.com it kind of ties you into Djibouti things and you never know what the future might holds

Like pastor Mark said, Rachel Held Evans uses her name and she blogs about a lot of different things. Plus its just easier to to remember someone's name as a website. Also RHE is my favorite blog too! but I'll read your blog no matter what you call it but a friend of mine who works in tech stuff told me its better to come up with sort of an all purpose website name unless you are going to specifically focus on one thing.

Well, Rachel Held Evans uses her name, and it is currently my favorite (until yours starts up). But Rachel has build up quite a readership over the past couple of years. Of course, TSK (Tall Skinny Kiwi) has a different approach, and it works. Good content plus distinct, memorable name. I can see it working for you with your name. But so could Blond African Runner!

One Bite at a Time - by Tsh Oxenreider
Twice Upon a Marigold (recommended & borrowed from DD's collection... I think ALL your kiddies might enjoy it as well!) by Jean Ferris
and the kids & I are alternating stories from Christmas Stories from the Heart by Alice Gray, and Christmas Hearts by Tim Roehl.

Yep, definitely something for cracked lips & hands. And if you get nosebleeds from the dry air, run a humidifier or a small pot of water on the back-burner of the stove. Also, large mugs of tea/cocoa help warm icy fingers, and hot-water bottles can be tucked into the foot of your bed so your toes don't freeze at night!
